Don't Let These Walls Stop You

You are going to change the world today, and I'm just glad I was here to see it.

Late-night lobster porridge, yummy fried lotus slices with salted egg, TGIF and alot of warmth. Tonight was another good night out, and there is nothing more I wish for than to have the friendship and be in the company of these wonderful people forever.

Proper post coming up soon! But first, sleep to oil my rusty brain gears. I'm hoping I'll wake up to some good breakfast too (crossing my fingers and hoping that wouldn't be too much to ask for!).

Finally.

So Lomantic is finally up. When the idea was first conceived, I had so many things to say, and so much to get off my chest. Somehow though, they all seemed to have melted away and I don't remember what it was that was so desperately trying to get out. Today though, I have a whole other set of rambling thoughts to clear out.

Went to the Art room today to collect my laptop & also hoping that there'll be some glue leftover from Coursework Chaos to use to fix my shoes. Have already braced myself for what to expect, but it was still surreal to see the past month's Chaos so cleanly and (almost) completely wiped out. It was strange that various work spaces were no longer home to familiar faces or having music of questionable tastes (heh) blaring from the speakers.

In the small pockets of Frenzy-free time in the past two weeks, I'd realised that it would be exactly what I'd be missing when it's all over and done. Coursework, semester assignments, FYP... it was always the crazy times that bound and even though the craziness felt like it would kill, when it was all over, you can't help but miss it. It was perhaps this realisation that steeled my determination to stay with these children (yes regardless of the narrow age gap I call them my children) every step of the way, no matter how tired or frustrating or dirty it would be.

It will be easy now for me to launch into a mushy/emo spiel on people, meeting them, loving them and leaving them (or them leaving) but I shall let Nara say it for me:

OH! MY GOD! I MISS YOU
screaming laughing hysterics unfunny jokes headless tail-less stories over buttersquid bittergourd soup thaipan lunches & dinners frenzy frenetic working away good music bad music random randomness randomnity

I have to say that I really love my job but how is my heart going to cope with all this loving and leaving! OH! MY GOD!

So Lomantic
There is something ever so lomantic about a bee bumbling about in a field of daisies.
